Verizon keeps spamming me with calls

I recently upgraded my phone to the env2 and ever since then I keep getting calls from Verizon about saving me money on text messages. The first call said I had to take action that day. Now 2 days later I'm getting another call about the same thing. My number is on the do not call registry. Just because I have service with verizon gives them the right to spam me with calls now? I just upgraded my phone and am already thinking about canceling. Any way to stop this garbage?

This feature is a calling service that alerts you to updates. I am almost positive you can change it so you don't receive them somewhere in your account setting on My Verizon. If you don't want to go through the hassle of trying to find where that is on your account, give them a call.

In MyVerizon under MyProfile is where you can change some of the alert settings. You can also call Verizon and ask to be on the Do Not Solicit list.

Having your number on the National Do Not Call List will do nothing because if you read the fine print it actually does say it will not apply to any company you've done business with in the last several months.

Also, just double check to make sure you do infact have the right text package for your needs.

E-mail and Text Alert Preferences.    Right below this under Phone Control Settings,  I would STRONGLY urge you to go to the link that says:   "View/Edit Privacy (CPNI) Settings" and opt out !!!     Opting in gives your permission to Verizon to share your information among their affiliates, agents and parent companies (including Vodafone) and their subsidiaries.
