Verizon message+ app has no way to delete old stale groups that are no longer wanted

There are lots of other threads about this problem for the verizon message+ app

It is un-acceptable to have any app that allow the creation of something like a text "group" and then have no way to delete this group from the app.

I've followed all the threads about this and none of the directions or instructions actually work. For example, one tells you to go into the groups using the search icon on the top left and select groups - then delete the messages thread here. This is not where message threads are, this is where the actual group entities exist - and there is delete here anywhere or by any reasonable way of long-touch or short-touch. These groups do not timeout and disappear after one thread said they would - the ones I am trying to delete are at least a year or older.  A group text thread and a group "entity" which has the list of names for the group are NOT the same thing.

Someone from development, needs to pay attention to what all the users are actually complaining about - and not respond with incorrect or meaningless answers.

Have the steps below been attempted:

  1. Open the.Message+ app.
  2. Select a conversation.
  3. Touch and hold a message then tap Delete Messages.
  4. Select (check) the desired messages then tap the Delete icon. (upper-right). To delete all messages, tap All (upper-right).
  5. Tap Delete to confirm.

On version 8.3.4 with no updates available appearing in settings/apps - message+

Can't seem to find the actual version on the message+ app in google playstore.

@bsherwo1

Thank you for reaching out to us on the community forums. We're sorry to hear that you're unhappy with group texts staying in your view. If the steps we had shared before are not working out for you, then the next best path is to open the Message+ app, then click on Menu > Get Help > Report a bug. This will let you report your issue directly to the app developer. Alternatively, you can submit feedback by visiting the app store download page for Message+ (the same page where you can update or uninstall it), and scroll down to where you can email the developer.
