What does it mean when you get a message from Verizon saying: if you have received this unexpectedly reply stop to end. It's from number: 900080002051.......
What was the rest of the message?
Sorry.... That was it! Nothing else! But I found where this had happened to lots of people... Glitch I guess
After receiving four cryptic message over a period of 5 days from 900080006202, I received one more message (different by still cryptic), from 900080002051 followed by: "If you have received this unexpectedly, please reply STOP to end."
Not wanting to verify my cell phone number, I've ignored them ALL.
Still I'd like to know if this is a phishing scam or some system issue with Verizon.
Those numbers are usually coming from Verizon Wireless themselves so they already have your phone number.

Your probably right however "usually" doesn't exactly fill me with confidence.
My Rule #1: Unless I'm sure, I don't reply.
The numbers are always different, but it fits the pattern of messages from Verizon Wireless.
