Verizon messages group message sent from a different number

When I sent a group message (10 ppl total) the message sent really weirdly. It sent from a different number other than my own (5889375705). 

 

Nobody could tell who else was in the group, it made me create a group name and it sent the group name in the original message. 

 

Does anyone know what this is and how to turn it off?
