I have an account with 2 lines. On the Messages site, one line shows contact names and the other only shows the number.

Verizon Messages gets your contacts from your Verizon Cloud contact backup. Each line would have to have its contacts backed up to the Verizon Cloud. You can use the Verizon Cloud app to backup contacts ONLY at no charge.
