I have had Verizon for over 20 years. Now you tell me I can no longer send and receive text messages. Verizon no longer wants to support their customers. Apparently Google messages has paid off Verizon and ordered Verizon to stop text messaging. I tried to set up my windstream email on Google messages. Google messages only allow gmail email addresses. I don't have a gmail address so I can no longer send text messages on Verizon. I will have to leave Verizon after 20 years. Can Verizon suggest another cellphone carrier that allows text messaging?

I downloaded Google Messages in the play store and it keeps giving me "Messages has stopped" and can't open the app. This is beyond frustrating. What is happening with ya'll, Verizon, your company is no longer reliable! I'm not thrilled with ATT but may have to go back to them so I can use texting.
