I thought it was supposed to be available with the iPhone 6 & 6s
It is. However the FCC has not granted Verizon permission to incorporate it in their service yet. Until they do so, those phones would not be able to have seamless wifi calling with your Verizon number.
There are apps out there which will allow you to make wifi calls such as Skype, Google Hangouts, etc...
There is no need to start multiple threads with the same question/topic.
iOS 9 was supposed to include WiFi Calling from Apple, or the ability anyway, but IDK how carriers are supposed to implement it.
