Voice ID for incoming text sender

The old message app would read aloud text sender name only. New app + only has option to read entire message aloud. Why?

As a consumer I know unexpected changes can be alarming and apologize for the inconvenience. The application is working and designed and regrettably I do not have the reason why. However, your feedback is appreciated and will be forwarded for review. I hope this is beneficial.
