Vzwpix.com is not allowing email to text with images

Vzwpix.com is not allowing email to text with images in the message as of 10/14/2024.  Any ideas on what is going on with this?

Could it be related to the Verizon Messages+ being shutdown?

I read the post and I guess it is possible. We can still send plain text via email but no images. I guess on Nov 7 we will know for sure. Thank you for the link.

have the same problem, noticed it around the 19th.  contacted vz and went to a store, neither had any info on why it's not working.  the vz msg app being shutdown, wouldn't think would have anything to do with it, text to email plus image is solely sms.  meanwhile, there's a problem with this

Thanks for reaching out about VZpix . Vtext/VZpix and replaced by Enterprise Messaging (EMAG) is in a process of complete shutdown. Have you explored other mass messaging resources? So how would we use EMAG to send text messages to employees via our email system?

Hi, the Verizon reps who hang out in the forums have posted elsewhere that they can't access business accounts for some reason.  I'd contact your IT department about the text to email issues, as they may have a dedicated Verizon contact person handling your company's account.

thanks for the reply.  kinda don't get it.  sending email to text is fundamental that has been offered to customers from all mobile providers for a long time.  why bother to create an entirely new infrastructure, or, pull in millions of people into one that exists to replace an existing process?  just my thoughts, thanks for the help.

I spoke with 4 customer service reps on the phone and 2 employees at the store and none of the m had any idea of what I was even talking about.

can no longer edit the last one:  one thing of note didn't think about, still- no problem sending text to email with an image

There is a five minute edit window for editing posts on the community.

about 11pm EST this evening, in a periodic test, an email to text with an image worked again.  also, a text with an image to email is successful (but this never failed for me during this time.)

It is back up and running on my end also. Hopefully it stays that way.

A Verizon rep posted in this other thread that Vtext and VzPix are in the process of being shut down.  You have to scroll through a few posts to find their reply.  I'm surprised they aren't already sunsetted as there were huge discussions in the forums a year ago from people who wanted to keep using the apps.

If you don't have a business account where you can use the EMAG app, you'll have to find some 3rd party app.
