WHY ARE THE PC USERS LEAST IMPORTANT OF YOUR CUSTOMERS???

I have used desktop Windows Messages+ for years, and can truthfully say it is nothing to brag about!  But, for me and many others, it is still an important part of our daily lives!  For me, I never have my cell phone turned on, unless I go somewhere.  I don't want to be exposed to the microwaves anymore then I have too.  But, I am at the computer a lot and check my Verizon Message+  desktop PC several times a day.   And besides that, don't have to squint at a cell phone and jab away on a digital keyboard.  It is so much nicer having bigger text on screen and use an actual keyboard to keep in touch with family and friends.  Truth is, we all actually use the Verizon phone service less, even when unlimited use, because of our texting too!   Other people use the PC text during their work, because they can't use their phones during work too.  But now because we don't have a "MAC" computer we are going to be denenyed that service??? Thanks alot.  We do not want to leave our cell phones on, to message through our computers with.  If you do that to us PC Users, then at least be fair, and do it to your MAC customers too then!  Anyway, I certainly am not happy with Verizon for their plans to shut down Messages+ in mid-December.

If it makes you feel any better the Mac desktop version of the program hasn't worked correctly for years and Verizon won't or can't fix it. I have a flip phone and the web-based Messages+ was the only way to use SMS/MMS effectively.

I've never tried it but if I remember correctly, Windows can now run Android apps. It is possible that the Android version might work in your situation.

How to run Android apps on Windows 11?

  • Launch the Microsoft Store and search for "Amazon Appstore."
  • Install and set it up, which will also prompt you to download the Windows Subsystem for Android.
  • Once the installation is complete, restart your PC.
  • Upon reboot, you'll find the Amazon Appstore in the Windows 11 App List. Launch it and sign in with your Amazon account to access the storefront.
  • Search for an app, and install it.

Believe it or not, there is a Windows Verizon Messages app in the Microsoft Store. I know nothing about it but I suspect it is buggy.
