Why Can't I Get Messages On My Mac?

I don't use an antivirus and Im not blocking and IMAP connections... wish they would fix this.. all I can to to see the text is resize the messages+ window and then I can see it till the next text comes in

Your answer is as useless as a screen door on a submarine.. Your MacOS app for my laptop is BAD, Poor Coding.. the TEXT isn't visible unless you resize the window just a tad..
