Why Can't I Schedule SMS Delivery via VMA?

Received an update to VMA last week; since then, I can no longer schedule SMS messages to send at a later time/date.  Used to be, I could press and hold the SMS icon, and I would get a timer that allowed me to delay the delivery of the SMS.  Now the icon has changed to "Chat" and only allows either instant SMS or instant chat?

Does anyone know how to use VMA so you can delay the delivery of your SMS?  I loved setting up reminders to myself, via SMS.

Hi all, I uninstalled/reinstalled the app and can now, once again, press and hold the "Chat" icon and schedule the message.
