Why am I missing text messages on the Verizon Messages App?

Samsung S7, all texts arrive.  However, on my laptop (HP Pavilion running Windows 10) some texts are missing.  The same texts are missing regardless of whether I use the Messages+ or Messages Apps, or the browser-based version (using Chrome).

Very annoying....
