Ok so Verizon says you can use Verizon Messages on Wifi. This works great on on Galaxy Tab 2 but on my Razr M it requires Cell Data. Why does Verizon require cell data on phones. At my work I never have cell phone service and I was hoping to be able to use this app to text so I could quit using my Google Voice number for texting at work. There has to be some way to get this to work on Wifi please help.

AndrewfBlack,
I can further assist! Yes, you should be able to use the Verizon Messages application over wifi. Does the internet work while connected to wifi? Have you tried removing the wifi connection and readding? If not, please do so, test and share. thank you.
