Why is a text i received on android not showing in my log

I have a Galaxy, not an iPhone. I received a text from someone I text with all the time and it's not showing in my log . They always have in the past. Why would one message not show up?

It is important that you get all your texts, IMALAP. Have you received text messages that were sent after this text? Was it a picture message or a regular SMS text message? Were you connected to Wi-Fi when the message was sent?

I am having a similar issue. Except the messages show up under my phone number on the bill but they do not show up under my husband's anymore.

We know it's important to make sure you are able to view your message logs, Kmackey2. When did this issue start? Are you able to view the messages in your My Verizon under Usage?
