I have the tango app on my phone and I use it for texting sometimes. Does my texting on Tango affect data allowance and can if so , can you track how much data is used everytime a text message is sent through the Tango app?

That's an excellent question, tm513195. When you're using 3rd party applications to send messages, data will be affected. If you're connected to WiFi, most applications will simply use that WiFi connection so it won't apply to your plan allowance. If you're connected through mobile data, most messages are a very small factor in your allowance. You can visit My Verizon http://bit.ly/xB4iTc and log in as the account owner to see a bit more details about your data usage, but there's not an option to break down the usage to determine exactly how much one message through Tango uses. You may be able to reach out to Tango to see if they have an estimate.
