The title is the issue; after copying the app from the installed apps/widgets window to the home screen's app doc. Actually, ever since i removed the original app I have not been able to restore it - all other message apps similarly do not indicate how many messages have not been read. please help re getting counter back.

In order to provide the best support, we want to gain more insight on specific details. Can you please confirm the current software version (http://vz.to/2wHWd2G) on your Droid Mini? Also, can you please confirm the current version of your Message+ application? You can view the application version by opening Message+, selecting the menu (three horizontal bars on the upper-left corner), and then clicking on About from the dropdown menu. You've also mentioned that other messaging apps do not have the counter either. Can you tell us what other messaging apps you're using with this phone?

Thank you for that update, Wolfwern. Here is another link you can use to review the updates on your device: https://www.verizonwireless.com/support/motorola-droid-mini-update/ . This does show that your device is up to date with the current version. Have you tried to reset your Message+ to default and process an update to the most current version? Have you attempted to go into your Droid Mini's settings and restored them to default?
