We appreciate the additional details. At the moment, the vtext service is no longer available as it has been discontinued. We apologize for the inconvenience.

When I attempted to respond to your email message, I received the following message: "Address not found
Your message wasn't delivered to [email address removed per the Verizon Terms of Service] because the address couldn't be found, or is unable to receive mail." Following is the email I attempted to send to that address:
For the last several days, more often than not, if I send an email to text message (.....[email address removed per the Verizon Terms of Service] sent to [email address removed per the Verizon Terms of Service], or some other phone number [email address removed per the Verizon Terms of Service]) the text message, i.e. the text message to be received at XXXXXXXXXX is not received. Often even standard text messages sent from my phone are not received. I've been using the email to text message feature for over five years.
Since things began to hiccup, I've been periodically testing the email to text function by sending a text to my phone via an email on my laptop web browser. Yesterday I began to receive the following message in my web browser from you when I did that.
"Message blocked
Your message to [email address removed per the Verizon Terms of Service] has been blocked. See technical details below for more information.
The response from the remote server was:
552 5.2.0 209.85.219.41 blocked AUP#BL"
The Xs in the above message from Verizon correspond to my phone number.
For what it's worth, I've only been in the habit of occasionally (2 or 3 times a day maximum) sending email to text messages. I'm not a user that sends a great number of them trying to reach a large number of text recipients.
The local Verizon store checked the phone several days ago, verified it was up to date, threw up their hands, and declared I needed a new phone. An ensuing chat session with Olivia in your tech support was dropped after thirty or so minutes. A voice call with you after that ended up with the agent stating that she "reset" texting on my phone, but she wasn't able to explain what she meant by that.
It's after the "reset" when I began to receive the above quoted message.
Thanks for whatever help you can provide. I really don't want to leave Verizon, but if this continues I'm gonna' be forced to do so. I've been with y'all for over sixteen years.

As the VZW rep mentioned, Vtext (and VzwPix) have been shut down, but if you have a business account which was using those services, there's a new app called EMAG to use. If you weren't a business customer, time to look for a 3rd party app.
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.
