verizon text messages web site web.vma.verizon.com/vma/web2/Message.do
After selecting a conversation in the left panel, selecting export from the right panel menu with a date range which includes the entire conversation a pop up appears "There are no messages for the selected period.". However selecting "Print" does print the messages from the right panel.
Is the export function supposed to work?

We want you to have the messages you need. Upon review, I'm not showing any open alerts. For clarity, are you looking to export your SMS log via My Verizon, or messages associated with Message+ (Verizon Messages)?

Not from either the the verizon app My Verizon or from Message+,
but from the Verizon web site as specified on the first line of my submission,

Thank you for clearing that up, your feedback is highly appreciated, as I understood from the first submission you are able to print them even if it says: "There are no messages for the selected period.", correct?

I selected a message from the left panel which causes all the messages in the conversation to be
displayed in the right panel.
Then I select the 3-dot menu above the right panel
The 3-dot menu panel has three choices:
Print Conversation
Export Conversation
Export and save your text messages of this conversation in CSV format.
Please choose date range: Last 30 days
Cancel Export
Remove Messages
The date stamp of the first message of the conversation is 08/30 and
the date stamp of the last message of the conversation is (now) 10/18
selecting "Export" pops the message panel "There are no messages for the selected period."
Yes the print conversation prints the entire conversation in pdf.
I want to have the conversation and the meta data in a parseable format,
which I presume the CVS format would enable.

ggaustad, thank you for those details and the feedback. Formatting options are important to ensure that you have a great experience. CSV has been a popular format in the past for things, such as contacts. I found a resource that may help with completing the process. We hope the following link https://www.verizon.com/support/knowledge-base-217522/ helps.

I have followed the procedures described in the link to get to the conversation, but the EXPORT option DOES NOT WORK.
So, no this is of NO USE.
