I'd like to download the text messages from my phone and save them to my PC. Is this possible, how can I do it?

If you're using Verizon Messages, log into your My Verizon account, hover over My Plan & Services at the top, then click Send a Message. Click the thread you want to save (on the left), then click the three dots in the upper right-hand corner; click Print or Export, depending on your preference.
If you aren't using Verizon Messages, check your app store for a text backup and restore app.
