Using Samsung S20. Currently using the preinstalled text app Messages & would like to change to using Verizon's Message+ as default without loosing history of text messages in other app. Is this possible? Will they transfer over? If not, will I still be able to access old text on the Messages app when I make Message+ my default? Any suggestions or advice would be helpful. Thanx!

Thank you for reaching out. We want to make sure that you can use the preferred app for messaging on your phone. All you have to do to use Message+ is open the app, set up if you have not used it previously, and you will be prompted to select it as the default application. Any conversations from the regular app will automatically be transferred. Does this help? ~Roger
