Is it possible to retrieve text messages that have been deleted? If so, how?
Unless they have been backed up by Verizon Cloud or another third party application designed for backing up the message, once they are deleted from the phone you can't restore the messages.

As previously stated, unless your messages were backed up in Verizon Cloud or a similar service, they would not be recoverable at this time.
