i have a blackberry storm 2 and i can send sms messages but i cant receive them. this phone is new to me and i've been through almost everything that i could think of but still cant figure out why i am not receiving any messages. please help!!!
Are the people trying to send texts to you sending them to your full 10-digit phone number? Can they reply to messages that you send to them? Are they perhaps using an app rather than simple text messaging?

Text messaging is my favorite form of wireless communication! Itโs SUPER convenient to send a text to convey a message when I am not able to speak. Iโm sure that you understand the convenience that text messaging provides in todayโs wireless world. May I ask how much memory do you have on the Storm 2? In most cases, the text functionality may become limited due to lack of memory. I would suggest erasing all of your old text message threads and other media, reboot the device, and retest. Of course this step is in addition to what SuzyQ recommended, thanks SuzyQ!
Since we are on the subject, I would suggest erasing any unused media. Some examples are old pictures, the sample video, and any unused apps. Once you have tested the text messaging service, please advise if the issue is resolved as I am eager to know the outcome.
