iPhone 4s picture messages straight to phone?

I'm new to VZW (came from AT&T) and I'm wondering if there is any way to bypass pix/flix with incoming pictures sent to me via sms. I always had the pictures appear on my text conversation window with AT&T and now I just get a message to sign in online to see the pictures sent to me. I realy hope there is away to bypass because this is the most ridiculous system I have ever seen.

MMS, or picture messaging, may not be properly provisioned - it should work as you expect. I suspect the port is the culprit. Call customer service, and have them check that all is set up properly (800-922-0204, or *611 from your handset).

A simple reset may also solve your problem (*228, option 1).
