scottc123, I'm sure getting those messages in your email can be a nuisance. I can definitely assist you with how to prevent that from occurring. The reason why it's occurring isn't due to a setting in My Verizon but with your email accounts. You will want to check in your Email settings (Inbox, 3 lines, gear wheel, accounts) and ensure the 'Sync Messages' setting isn't toggled on for each Email Account that you have. Just click on each email account name to turn that sync option off for each of those accounts.
