The last several months I have had issues in sending messages through message+. The message gets stuck on sending. It only seems to happen when I'm at work. i have a window, so I don't see that as being an issue. It may take days for a message to be sent. When I use the regular message app, it works just fine regardless of where I am.

What make/model device do you use? Are you using WiFi or 3G/4G service when the issue occurs?

It a Galaxy 8 Plus. I'm usually on the WiFi, but it does the same thing on the network (4G).

Another question, does the issue occur with SMS (single recipient) or MMS (multiple recipient or media) messages or both?

I appreciate the extra detail, Swest6929. While the connectivity issues you experience at your work certainly could be contributing to the delays, we'll want to try a few things out. First, please make sure that all apps (including Messages+) are up to date in the Play store. Also, please make sure your operating system is up date. You can go to settings, system updates and "check for system updates" to ensure you have the latest software. Also, let's reset the Messages+ app with the following steps: http://spr.ly/6587DihOP Make sure to select Messages+ from the list. Let us know if you still have the issues after checking these things out and completing those steps please.

When I click on the link to reset the message+, I get an error message ("An
unexpected error has occurred"). Is there a different link to reset the
message+ app?

I have reset the app twice today and I'm still having issues with sending
messages. This app is a waste of time.

Thank you for taking the time to reset the Messages+ application, swest6929. I understand the importance of being able to send messages while you're at work. Let's keep troubleshooting so we can get the application fully working. I would like you to fully uninstall the Messages+ application. To do this, in the same place you have gone to reset the app, you will want to go in and choose 'Disable'. After this is done, you will want to go into the Google Play Store and in the search box, enter Verizon Messages and then 'Install/Update'. Please keep us in the know if this works.

That didn't work either. Don't worry about it. I will just use the
regular message app until August when I plan to upgrade my phone to an
iPhone because the Galaxy S8 Plus is the worst phone I have ever owned.

You’ve stated that the issue started several months ago and only happens at work. Do you recall any changes that were made to the device around that time? I believe there have been a couple of updates during this time. I'm
typically on the wifi at work, but sometimes I get kicked off repeatedly
during the day. When I try to just use 4G, I have issues with connectivity
while I'm at work. The message+ appears to work everywhere else except at
my office. I'm next to a window, but there are some trees just outside the
window. Even after I leave work, the messages still show as sending and
complete at random times.

I had the same problem; several messages I sent on September 18th between 2:00 and 4:30 p.m EST did not arrive until 5:00 p.m, and several more messages I sent on October 4th between 12:00 p.m and 3:30 EST had not arrived by 3:45 p.m. either. After this issue repeated itself, I switched to the stock Message app, and was able to send messages without problems.
It appears Verizon's Message+ app is unreliable, and messages are sometimes delayed for many, many hours. I have switched to the stock Message app instead of Message+, and the problem is resolved.
I recommend you do not use Message+.

I'm having a similar issue, with a twist, i also get the "message could not be sent" when using message+, but the message still goes through and the other person receives it. I get notifications that when a text comes in, then I get the same notification for the exact same text sometimes hours or days later, even for multiple texts at once. This is frustrating because my job has automated texts sent out for every major update in my group., and I cant' have my phone pinging constantly.
I have a Pixel 8 Pro. I've verified I have the latest security, the latest Message Plus the latest Android OS version, and all the settings look right. Did I not check anything.
