There were some text messages and photos taken via the photo button of Messenger on my Verizon Android phone in July and May that are now crucial to an upcoming court case.
Going to review and forward them today I am discovering I all texts prior to July 31 are gone from my phone. WTHeck? Also I am seeing photos taken with the Messages are not being automatically saved to Gallery. Again, WTHeck?
I tried going into Settings on the Messages App,to disable any auto delete that may exist only to learn there is no such feature as Settings in Messages. Why not? I can Archive but that is all pressing ... allows.
I have never authorized the deletion of anything from Messages and need the older messages and photos from June and May back. How do I find them? How do I stop the messages of this month from being deleted?

I'm sorry to hear your missing message and photos, superc_53. I hope you have screenshots of these texts or photos. What app were you using Verizon Messages, Facebook Messenger or the native message on the phone? When did you see them last? What device do you have? -Joe
