I recently did a factory reset, and have most stuff back, but I do not get audible notifications on text messages. Samsung Galaxy s7, usinf berivon message app.

Hey, sid_w. I know how annoying it can be to get a message and not know. Let's get your notification sounds back. Are you hearing other notifications? Have you checked Settings> Notifications> and checked the application to make sure it's turned on? It should be blue. Also, you can check Settings> Sounds And Vibration, and tap notification sounds. Please make sure "Messages notifications" is turned on.

Thanks... Found the problem... Think it was in the app settings for message+. I had previously hecked the notificatiis tab to no avail.
Then i thot i had lost it again, only to find the speaker was muted.
