Hello Support.

I need help figuring out why office 365 emails sent to vtext.com are significantly delayed.  This seems to have started about April 2023. The error received is "Server at vtext.com (34.199.121.51) returned '450 4.4.317 Cannot connect to remote server ".   Could someone please help me with this?  I see many are having a similar issue on the Community but I see no solution posted.

Thank you.

Hello, RSIwork, thanks for reaching out regarding VText messaging. Since this issue has started, what troubleshooting steps have been completed? Do you have a consumer or business account with us?

Is Verizon discontinuing the use of @VTEXT.com (email to text), a lot of people are having the issue where email to text is not working and others are saying Verizon is quietly sun-setting the feature regardless that your site states it is still a feature.

Just an FYI Verizon's solution is to reinstall your email which has no bearing on the issue @hand. See below (just and FYI we replaced the actual phone number with "PhoneNumber" to mask the number) VERIZON IS BLOCKING VTEXT's

Oh, no! Foggy1, dealing with technical issues can be frustrating, especially if you are encountering Vtext problems. Verizon is here to help.

When did the issue start? What recent changes have you made? Anyone else experiencing similar issues? Aside from the connection issues, any other problems?

I remember seeing a post elsewhere from a Verizon rep saying the whole VText thing was already discontinued.
