phone stuck on receiving message

my old flip phone is stuck on receiving message and will not undue, tried to call my cell from home phone and no ring and cannot call out on my cell and will not even let me turn it off. Frustrating.

It's really frustrating when your cell phone gets stuck, and even worse when it won't let you do anything, not even power down. We're here to help you, CROWELRL. Since it will not allow you to power down, please remove the battery for about a minute, then reinsert it. You will not lose any information. What model phone is it? When you called the cell, and it didn't ring, did you at least reach your voicemail?
