Great question Alopez1. There are two ways in which to recover deleted text messages. One way is via iTunes and the other is via iCloud. So long as you haven't performed a recent backup of your device via either of these methods, you can restore the device from a previous backup that contained these messages prior to their deletion. http://apple.co/1e23e0T (restore from iTunes) or http://apple.co/1JLsmSl (restore from iCloud). If your device has performed a new backup since the deletion of those messages, you will not be able to retrieve the deleted messages.
