I had assumed as the primary account owner of a family share plan (500 minutes over 2 lines), that if I added the $5 250 message plan that it would be shared message counts across both lines (just as my 500 minutes is shared). Getting my first bill seems to show otherwise.. the secondary line text messages are still charged at the usual sent/received rates.
Is there any way to share text message plans? If not, I guess I will take the feature off.. with both lines *together* we were just starting to regularly spend $5 or so a month, so thought getting a 250 message plan would be about the same cost and allow us to use texting a bit more without any increase in cost. However, with this month's experience we now are spending close to $8-10 given primary line has the 250/$5 plan, and the other line was costing $3-4 for all texting.
