I sent a text to a 617xxxxxxx number the other day.

When I look it up on My Verizon, it says I sent the test to 0000006245.

Did my text get received to the intended destination ? Or to this 0000006245 ?

Hi jeffco98!  Let's ensure your intended recipient received your text message.

Where did you send the text message from, your device or did you send it online using My Verizon using the new Integrated Messaging service?  If you sent it from your device, what model device do you have?  Does the sent message still appear in your text message inbox?  If so, view the message detail and advise if it shows the full 10 digit number it was sent to and if it shows "Sent" or "Delivered".  Lastly, was the recipient of the message one of your contacts?  Please let me know so I can further assist.  Thanks!

Hi There,

   I'm actually hoping the message DIDN'T go through.

I just want to know if it did or not.

I sent the message from my device.

Samsung Galaxy S4

It's not in my inbox any longer.

The destination was in my contacts.

Thank you for the information. This message was received on this forum. Now are you using the stock messaging app on your device, or downloaded a 3rd party service such as Verizon Messages? Were you able to confirm with the intended recipient if they received the message or not? Please keep us updated.
