I'm going to Mexico tomorrow for a week and have some friends doing the same and would like to meet up, but I'm not sure how much I'll be charged for sending/receiving texts. Any idea on this?! Thanks!

Risu, as usual, is correct.
While in Mexico it's .50 to send a message and .05 to receive a message. Also, any calls you may make or receive are .99 per minute.
