Same here! Its a few days already and it does not look like it will be fixed anytime soon......

Same issue here.  Messages showing up a day or more late.  Started roughly June 13th, also somewhere in that time frame got an update to the Message+ app on the phone.  May or may not be related, but if this continues I'm bailing for T-Mobile in a heartbeat.  This happened a few years ago when VZW started using a new cloud based spam filter, finally got that issue taken care of and here we are again.  Stop wrecking services that people have come to rely on!

RCG1520, we want to make sure your text messages are working without issue. If your matter is only present in the Message+ app and not the native text messaging app to the phone, please launch the app and tap on the top left menu. Then, tap on Get Help and report a bug or you can send an email to our app developer team about the issue at verizonmessages@verizonwireless.com. Be sure to indicate your phone make and model and app version.

I have the same issue with the native text messaging app to the phone,

since the last weekend, when I try to send a message from my Gmail account to my cellphone using <myPhoneNumber>@vtext.com or <myPhoneNumber>@vzwpix.com it bounces back, I never had a problem till now.

We are having the same issue, all our employees who are verizon users that get notifications to their cell phone from us via email to  [email address removed per the Verizon Terms of Service] are no longer receiving messages.

On the back end, we see this error message coming in:

Delivery incomplete
There was a temporary problem delivering your message to [email address removed per the Verizon Terms of Service]. Gmail will retry for 47 more hours. You'll be notified if the delivery fails permanently.

The response was:

The recipient server did not accept our requests to connect. Learn more at https://support.google.com/mail/answer/7720 [vrz-sms.mx.a.cloudfilter.net. 34.200.143.151: 421 vrz-ibgw-5002a.ext.cloudfilter.net cmsmtp Connection refused - tYnwlhJs8gL3j - POL109E - too many sessions from 209.85.XXX.XXX ] [vrz-sms.mx.a.cloudfilter.net. 34.199.121.51

Messages from Gmail/G suites to VZ consumer domains may be throttled or blocked due to high volumes of malicious messages originating from Gmail email addresses using Google's outbound services. This does not have anything to do with the specific sender, but with the volume of malicious messages received from Gmail as a whole. System enhancements will be going into place on the 23rd that will hopefully help to alleviate the malicious content volume, thereby reducing delays on normal emails from gmail's servers."

...Just another VZW customer...trying to offer some assistance...

There are still some users who are unable to send messages to (mobile number)@vtext.com when sending from GMail. It is difficult to find the cause of this, since the issue happens based on Google traffic at that exact moment. Some computers and servers then "hold on" to that error, and kick the error back for every subsequent attempt to send to vtext. It is not something that is being caused or affected by Verizon Wireless.

I saw another thread on this issue and tested myself.  I found that when sending the email for texting to my phone to vtext.com or vzwpix.com from my Comcast mail account it works fine.  But when using my Gmail account (mobile app or Google web site) it fails or is extremely delayed. This is a Google mail server to Verizon mail server issue.

I am having the same problem as described by SpankyMcFarland  

Gmail will not send to vtext.com. Is there a possible problem with using a VPN? I am getting different error messages. Two pasted below.

It's important to make sure you and your wife are able to receive messages from vtext.com and from vzwpix.com Tell me, do you get an email or message explaining it couldn't be delivered? What steps are you taking? Have you tried using a different device (tablet or a laptop)?
