***Announcement: Early next week, we’ll be merging the current Fios and Wireless Communities into the all new Verizon Community! Beginning the evening of Sunday 12/4, both Communities will be placed in read-only mode. You’ll still be able to visit the Communities and browse content, but login will be disabled. I have trying all day and I am not able to get [email address removed per the Verizon Terms of Service] to work.  I also tried to send a text to myself from the verizon website, and that did not go through as well.  I tried calling customer service, but not able to get through to a person..keeps telling me that I have to Port my number. I will go to the store that I bought my phone from and hopefully they have a way to help.

It is definitely strange that you are not able to send text messages using Verizon Messages. Let's take a look at what is happening. Please provide the steps you are taking to send the message. Do you receive an error message at all? When was the last time you were able to send a text message successfully using this feature?
