my old phone was a Motorola droid my new phone is a Motorola moto g4 why can't I
use message+ on my new phone?

Kelvinater, Message+ is a great app, and one we're certainly proud of. However, since the Moto G4 is not a Verizon device, we are not able to guarantee compatibility with the phone. To keep using the Verizon Messages app, we can help find a great device within our lineup of phones for you, otherwise, you can continue using your Moto G4 with the Motorola messaging app, or download another of your choosing in the Play store.
