There is a cheaper device protection plan

When we purchased our Z Fold 3 phones a few weeks ago, I was told that the only plan available was the $17.00/month device protection plan.  I opted for it because I'm clumsy.

Now I've returned the phones (because we just didn't like them enough to be worth the cost), and when I tried to cancel the device protection, I was told that there was a cheaper plan at $7.25/month.  The agent gave me the differences:

"The 17 plan offers 3 claims for damage lost or stolen, unlimited screen repair, free battery replacement, 24 hour tech support same day delivery, and digital secure. The cheaper one offers 3 claims a year for damage lost, or stolen and unlimited screen repair."

If you don't need 24 hour tech support, same day delivery or digital secure, you might be able to save $10.00/month by dropping to the cheaper plan. Again, NOBODY at Verizon told me about it until I was canceling the higher priced plan.

kaybracon, we apologize for not going over all your insurance options and always want to be transparent. The link here: http://spr.ly/6604JMMv0 breaks down our insurance options and cost varies by device.

You can also go into your My Verizon Add-on features via your My Verizon account to view the cost per line for any insurance feature we have available. Thank you.
