***Announcement: Early next week, we’ll be merging the current Fios and Wireless Communities into the all new Verizon Community! Beginning the evening of Sunday 12/4, both Communities will be placed in read-only mode. You’ll still be able to visit the Communities and browse content, but login will be disabled. Total Mobile Protection added without my authorization!!

Has anyone else ever had Total Mobile Protection (TMP) added to their account without their authorization?  I recently saw I was being charged for TMP, and after doing some research I learned that I have been paying for TMP since upgrading my phone last year.  The sales person never asked me if I wanted TMP, and they definitely never told me they were adding TMP to my account.  TMP was not on my receipt.  Has this ever happened to you, or someone you know?  I feel so cheated...

What is with people not checking bills? How can this go on for a year and not get noticed?   Since it is impossible to prove what or what was not said a year ago, and there is no way to prove someone just wants a year of free insurance by claiming they didn't want it and want a full year refund.

The charge might not be on the initial receipt, but it will be on the bill, since you technically are not charged for insurance until it comes out on the bill, at the end of the first cycle.

Just found out they did it to me without my authorization as well. Now I'm looking at switching company's due to this is the 3rd time something was added without my knowledge and who knows what else.

We'd don't want this to come between us!  It is important to know what you are paying for.  You can always check in My Verizon to see what features you have on each line.  If find anything that shouldn't be there, you can message us on Facebook or Twitter and we'll male things right.

This also happened to me.... Unacceptable behavior to squeeze more $$ out of it's "valued" customers.

Just found that the same thing happened to me.  I didn't sign up for it.  They got me.  Of course there's no record of me agreeing to sign up for it.

It's called "cramming" and it's illegal.
