Lost, stolen, physical and water damage are covered for replacements. Like a car, these claims require a deductible. Average is usually $149. Phoneclaim.com will show the rate depending on device.

It also comes with an extended warranty to get free replacements if the device is malfunctioning without physical damage. (Florida doesn't get the extended warranty)

The $9 plan is the same protection as the $13 plan except for the useless tech coach. Regardless I personally don't have insurance as it's waste of money in my book.
