Can anyone tell me if it is possible to block data on one of my lines without blocking calling or texting? I have blocked inappropriate materials through my router through Open DNS filters but I have wise guy here who has learned that if he just turns the wi-fi off that the data can still be used to access all of those sites. I know I can restrict the amount of data used but I only want to restrict it for certain time periods and open it back up for safe times. Is this possible? Is like to use time restrictions without blocking and texts or calls at all.

Family Base is a great feature we want to take advantage of to set limits and allowances on your lines. You can disable data, voice and text during certain times of the day while adding safe numbers to your list so they can still call and text to those safe numbers. Time restrictions would temporarily suspend calls, messages and data. However, you can enable and disable this option at any time. The time limits block all access, you can't carve out data only.
the only work around is to put in time limits and then put phone numbers on the whitelist to allow texts and calls to those numbers. I think you can have 10 numbers on the whitelist.

I have the same question. I can't figure it out either I guess the only way is like he said below to put contacts on the trusted list and always allow calls and text while blocking data for a specific time period. What a pain I'm the ass. Why not simply put a block data only option?

There really should be an option to just block data for time periods. I entered numbers into the whitelist but it only allows 10. Phone calls are not the problem here and since we have iPhones we cannot apply age restrictions. It seems to be an android only thing. I'm trying to block phones from accessing pornography. They are not abusing calls or texts!

Yeah what a waste you have to manually allow only 10 numbers only to simply disable data and allow calls and text... wow

No I know what they'll create a new feature doing this and charge $2.99
