IS there anything I can do to get this installed on my daughter's phone. The whole reason I upgraded to a smart phone for her was because I was told that family base would help me control access from the phone. I checked the "Supported device list" but "Supports more 4g devices" is not very helpful.
The phone says it is up to date software wise I believe 4.4.2
IT shows on the Play store as: HTC HTC6435LVW
Any help would be great

According to the phone specs, the DNA is compatible w family base. Are you getting error when you try to install? What specifically are you encountering?

The Companion app isn't required for you to control your daughters phone, but it does give you some additional tools/views. You do need to have the FamilyBase service added. See if this helps:

I have signed up and paying the $5/ month. When I go to manage family base I get this message
"If you want to see more detailed insights, such as app downloads and usage, or remotely lock ***** device, download the Companion App on your child's device."

Hi somethingnew,
Let's get this figured out! The Droid DNA is ineligible for FamilyBase Companion App but eligible for the FamilyBase Feature. Have you attempted to setup restrictions via your My Verizon account.
Thanks,

Yes I have set up some restrictions on her phone, However mainly I wanted to manage apps installed and when she can play them. I was hoping the companion app would allow that but I dont get the option in the FamilyBase web site because I cant get the app installed on the Droid DNA.

somethingnew I certainly understand where you are coming from. Currently FamilyBase does not support managing which apps are downloaded.

That is a great question somethingnew! Honest answer: we don't know. We do not have any information about what applications will be compatible with any particular device in the future. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.
