I put my son on the Just Kids plan and I thought he was only supposed to make/receive calls and texts from the 20 numbers I put on the app. He has gotten texts from multiple unknown numbers. What’s going on?

If you have an iPhone, Verizon's restrictions don't do much.

It's great to know that you're using the Just Kids plan for your son. While it does include an option to have 20 trusted contacts, what make/model phone does he have? Does he use any 3rd party apps such as What's App? I ask because there are scenarios that do not use our network to transfer messages, and we cannot block them for you. These would have to be done on the phone itself. -Russell

I have contacted Verizon on three separate occasions for this same exact issue. No explanation still, just conveniently get disconnected each time.
