Managing data among a shared account can be a challenge, BArndt123. You are in the best place for some advice on your options. Ann154 offered a great suggestion. Using Verizon Smart Family will allow you to set limits on data use, among many other great control options. yeah SFP will also lock up your phone and is impossible to configure even for a sys admin. Useless junk app that you have to pay for to do a simple task. NOT recommended to fill vz's pockets with added "services" that should be a part of the expensive plans they offer.

Being able to manage your account and usage on your devices is important,and Smart Family is a great option. You may also able to set usage limits on the device through its settings free of charge. What is the make and model of the device we are working with today? AlbertP_VZW
