I just got 2 basic phones for my kids. They do not need smart phones. I was told at the Verizon store that I should be able to lock them down remotely if needed. How can I do that if I get an error saying that the phone model is not supported by the family base companion? They are using the LG Extravert 2.
Thank you.

I apologize for the issues that you are experiencing Naavah! The Extravert 2 is not currently compatible with the Family Base. It is compatible with Family Locator but this does not allow to manage the usage or lock the device. Here is more information: http://www.verizonwireless.com/support/family-locator-legal/
