We can definitely understand wanting to make sure your settings kick in when they are supposed to. When setting up Family Base and their features, the time zone is able to be updated when setting time limits. If you access the Family Base link via My Verizon, click on the child line you wish to manage and then click on Limits & Controls> Limit Times and it will show the option to select your time zone. Give this a try and keep us posted if this doesn't work for you.
