Can’t redeem visa card rewards points

I’m trying to redeem my Verizon Visa Card rewards points for a gift card but the website has an error for days now. I can’t access on my phone on the app, through Safari or Firefox on my laptop.
What is going on? I thought I had until Aug 21st to redeem for a gift card according to an email I received.

We know how important it is to be able to redeem your rewards points for gift cards and we appreciate you sharing your experience with us. What type of error are you receiving when trying to complete the redemption process? You shared that you have tried multiple different browser types, have you attempted the process using a private/incognito browser window to see if the issue persists?

The error that I receive is Http/1.1 Service Unavailable.
I shouldn't have to use a private/incognito browser window. This is a Verizon server error.

I have the same error and I have tried incognito and still gets the same error .

Don't quote me, but I think trying to get a new gift card is dead. The August deadline is probably for redeeming an existing gift card you got in the past.
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.

Kelly01, we're trying to help troubleshoot and suggest ways to avoid that error. Using a private/incognito browser window we've found helps with those kind of errors. Along with clearing cache/cookies and signing out of My Verizon. Refreshing all that helps clear errors, and can allow for access. So if you can try that, I'd appreicate it.

Hi John.
I did as you suggested, cleared cache/cookies, used a private browser session. Even downloaded Google Chrome and tried from there. I'm still receiving the same error.

Same I feel like we are being blocked from redeeming gift cards since it ends 8/21.
