Can't use Verizon rewards for almost 2 years now

A little background, I had a Verizon account and I had a Verizon Visa. I left Verizon for a while. Then I came back and opened a new account. I have been trying to link my Verizon Visa to my new account for almost 2 years now. I have called My Synchrony. I have called Verizon. I have spent probably, no exaggeration, 20 hours on the phone talking to different people. And although my Visa is used to pay my bill and get my discount for using the Verizon Visa, all the rewards that I have been earning have been inaccessible. They show up on my Verizon Visa account and when I try to use them they disappear. I don't want to lose them. I also want to start using my Verizon Visa for more purchases to earn points, but it's useless if I can't use them.

Hey there, Donilee1, we know how important it is to be able to use your rewards! To clarify, are you attempting to redeem rewards that have accrued since coming back and opening a new account with Verizon? Can you let us know how you are attempting to redeem your rewards? Is this in reference to a mobile or Fios Account?

These are rewards. I've earned, since I've come back to Verizon. It's the same phone number with the same name as my previous account. I read the terms and conditions of verizon visa.And it should have transferred to my new account

Thank you for sharing those details with me today, Donilee1. Those details are definitely helpful. It sounds like the main issues is that the card isn't linked with your Verizon account correctly.
What happens when you follow these steps:
Log into My Verizon
Navigate to Payment Settings. (Accounts > Account Settings > Account Settings overview)
Select Payment Settings from the Contact & Billing section.
Select the Payment Settings button.
If you're eligible to link the card to the account, you'll see a yellow box. From there you'll select Link Card.

I just went and tried that. There's no yellow box, however, my verizon visa is set up as my auto pay and it clearly states that i'm eligible for my one percent verizon rewards for using it, and then on the same payment settings page, it shows zero verizon dollars

My verizon visa shows the rewards and when I select to redeem them and it links to the verizon app they show zero.

I believe we found a solution but I have to wait for 1 to 2 billing cycles to see if it did. If you still have the issue, I can get you connected to the person that helped me
