My husband and I have been using Verizon’s Visa card since December 2021. We had accumulated over $400 in rewards. We decided to apply some to our current bill but in order to do this we had to pause our auto pay for the month. As a result, we were going to be charged $20 for pausing our payment even though we were using our rewards to pay. We were on the phone with customer service for about 45 minutes trying to work this out. We were eventually told our account will be credited the $20. What a joke! Even though this card is generous with the rewards for things like gas and groceries it’s truly a hassle to use them. We’ll be canceling this card if Verizon doesn’t improve the way you can use the rewards.
Has anyone else experienced this? How did you get it resolved?

You are not alone. Nobody at Verizon is taking responsibility for making this #Verizon Reward Dollars program work.
I too have been on the phone and in online Verizon support chats to get answers as to what Merchant Gift Cards can you buy with #Verizon Visa Reward Dollars. Lots of time spent and no one at Verizon knows. What a disaster.

I’ve had a Verizon Visa card for over 5 years, and my rewards balance always shows an error. So, according to Verizon, I’ve never earned a dime rewards. I’ve called them multiple times and they’ve “opened inquiries” that miraculously disappear the next time I contact them
