Hello,
I have been a Verizon Visa Signature card holder for 4 years and counting. Received my replacement card today, and went to add it to my Apple wallet like I’ve done numerous times before (without an issue), and keep getting “Contact card issuer”. Synchrony has deferred this issue to Apple, Apple has deferred this issue back to Synchrony.
I am the card holder in the middle of these two both refusing it is not their issue. I’ve been issued since then another new card with a new account number, now with the same issue, as in the past, now on the latest card. I have went through the repeated multiple processes with Apple to isolate the issue, and the response is Synchrony needs to further research this, but Synchrony fails to find a solution. Hours have literally been wasted with Synchrony refusing to resolve. I have added, deleted and re added multiple other cards (Visa, Mastercard, Credit and Debit) without any issues adding other cards to my Apple Wallet. Only this Verizon Visa by Synchrony card is not able to be re added to my Apple Wallet. They can also see my card was added prior but says this one never “requested” for them to activate the mobile wallet.
Synchrony has been absolutely no help, and says it isn’t their issue, as well as Apple troubleshoots to only say it is in Synchrony’s system. Anyone else had this issue and found a resolution?

I have the same exact problem. No one takes accountability. No one is willing to help.
